Good saddle for a WB?

So I currently have a Pessoa Gen X. When I was riding a lot of TB type horses at my old barn, it was great. But now that I have a Swedish Warmblood, my saddle doesn't seem to fit him quite right. He's very uphill, so it constantly slides back, even though I use a 'no-slip' pad, regular pad, and fleece pad. Since it doesn't fit him quite right, it's causing my leg to sit oddly. I'm starting to worry that the saddle might be hurting him (although, that might just be me being a worrying mom, haha).

So, I was just wondering if you guys knew a good saddle that fits the WB types? I don't necessarily need a wide tree, just something that would sit better and not slide around so much.

Thanks! (:

Have you thought about putting a breastplate on him to help the saddle from sliding back?

I really like the Bates next generation deep seat, its a great saddle. My coach has one on her Wb built Tb and it fits him great.

I would see if you can get a saddle fitter out to look at it. It sounds like it doesn't fit him if it's sliding and all that.

Agreed with Stormy. If the saddle is slipping back it's not fitting him properly. There isn't a specific saddle that will fit every WB. If you get a good saddler out he/she can recommend you a good brand that will fit your guy's back, or even better, reflock it so it fits really well!
