    1. Should I buy the horse first or the tack? ( have ridden a few but haven't decided on a specific one yet)
    2. Any one know a good online place to buy tack?

I'm looking for both western and huntseat stuff

Horse first, especially as far as saddle fitting is concerned. And if I buy anything online as far as tack I buy from SmartPak Equine

Horse first, cause the saddle has to fit the horse. And I get tack from horse.com, statelinetack.com and chickssadderly.com. I wouldn't buy a saddle online without a trial period, cause you never know if it will fit

Ditto on that but want to add: You might get away with prepurchasing a bridle but if you buy a bridle designed for a full horse and end up buying a cob size animal then the full size will be to big and so forth and so on. Your better off getting the animals first then the tack.
