Question hair under brow band or over brow band?

I always pull mine over cause my mare and gelding had beautiful long forelocks, but I've seen a lot of people recently that tuck it under the brow band.

What is everyone's preference, just outta curiosity? I wanna know if i'm one in the majority or one in the few lol

I put it over. I think it's more cute this way anyway. Although I have to say my paint has nothing to put under or over anyway (my qh has a nice long forelock though).

I don't tuck it in because that can rub the forelock off. The only time I would ever tuck it in is if it's braided and needs to lay flat.

I usually have the forelock over the browband, but may tuck it under if I have a pretty band on, and I want to show it off

Same as GH. If I have a pretty browband, I'll plait the forelock or braid it and tuck it under.

I have two eared headstalls because I hate having to tuck them under or pull them over :) so I don't have to worry !

Over looks silly under IMO :)

GH & Endiku, are you both talking about every day riding or showing? I braid and put under for the show. My every-day browband is nothing to show off anyway. Haha!

I don't show but I do have a nice bridle for 'show off' riding (heh...) and that's when I plait. But we also keep our horse's forelocks long and natural, so I just find it easier to get it out of the way in the first place, for both my horse's and my sanity. ;D
