Question Half pad vs. shaped pad

Hi everyone,

This is a pretty quick question. Do English Judges prefer half pads or shaped pads in show classes?

In what type of show class? Hunter judges generally prefer shaped pads as well as eq judged , while in the jumper ring it doesnt matter.

In hunters, shaped pads are more normal and less likely to raise eyebrows- rather than just a half pad by itself.

Thanks! where i live, it seems that people generally use both in the hunter type, so i was curious to see what the judges and other people prefer.
Thanks again
