I was wondering if anyone knows how much rope/poly halters typically cost. I would like a lightweight, easy to use halter for training my horse. if anyone has a better suggestion for me let me know.

$10 or so for bottom of the range, $20 or so for a better one. Choose a rope that is soft while still being firm, and with proper sizes (don't get a one size fits all).

If you have the rope- ive got a good link to make rope halters- shows you rope length and how to size them right for your horses head-- if your horse takes a medium halter it shows how to make medium halter etcetera.
