I have a brand new handmade all purpose english saddle. Real leather, black, good padding, not broke in. It has irons, leathers, and the girth. I love it so much, I can't wait to use it, but I'm thinking about maybe selling it. I just got into the English community, I have ridden Western all my life, so I don't know what all this stuff is worth. It was made by a local saddle maker, it is very well done and very beautiful. Since I am not very experienced with english, I'm thinking about either selling and buying a used english saddle or trading it for a used one. I think I'd rather have a saddle that's already broken in that I won't slid around in and make it harder to learn. It is about 16-17 inches. 48 inch fleece girth. Heavy irons. Black leathers (not quite sure the length). Because it is handmade, it doesn't have a brand or anything that I could look up and get a rough amount for pricing. Does anyone know an average price that I could ask for something like this? Thanks!
