Okay, so I've had a rather tricky request to make a working Black Beauty/Ginger harness [when they're at the rich fancy place w/ a bearing rein] for some model horses. This is turning out to be a total pain in the ass because I can't find any solid references to go by. I do have the movie, which has helped me get the bridles finished. The part I'm really stumped on is how the traces buckle into everything else. It sort of looks like the breeching strap and the trace strap both go into the same buckle, but I don't know. If anyone has any photos of this supreme annoyance of a trace adjuster buckle, or better yet can explain to me exactly how the trace, collar and breeching work together, I would greatly appreciate the help.
