Has anyone bought a Hilason Treeless saddle?

I was looking at saddles on Ebay and these popped up, was wondering if anyone has bought one or tried one and if so what did you think? Are they comfy, do they fit the horse well, do they last?

Thanks I really need something comfy for my back and knees (getting old stinks ).

I've heard they suck and they tend to slide easily.

They are absolutely horrible, don't buy them.

Two friends have bought them. One was promptly returned (yet it took over two months to get a refund!) and the other was relegated to the daughter's bedroom as a decoration. I would avoid anything with their name on it or sold by them, at all cost.

Ok, that helps a lot thank you. I'd rather not have one shipped anyway so I'll just check out what the tack stores have to offer and keep my eyes open on CL for something else. Its winter anyway and I can ride in the one I have for now.
Thanks again.

I heard nothing but bad words about them. Person I know (who trail rides a lot) bought one... Had to re-sell it short after. It's like with everything else - you get what you pay for.

I have a Bob Marshall saddle and a Black Forest treeless saddle and have had great results with them. I have friends that have Freeform, Barefoot, and Ansur treeless saddles and they are great as well. You have to find the saddle that works best for your horse (they DO have to fit!) and use the right saddle pad and girth. Most treeless saddles need more than a normal saddle pad.

I'm with luvs. Number of people I know use treeless (incl. Bob Marshall, and not positive about other brands, all NOT cheap though). While I'm not a fan of it, I've heard they fit almost any horse (not sure it's true though).

Jenn, check the tack shop outside the auction on friday. You will NOT beat their prices! I know! I waited to buy my saddle and ended up having to pay $100 MORE than I could have paid there! I was and am kicking my butt for it! They average about $250, some lower, some higher and the people are AWESOME to work with!
