Exclamation Help fitting a AQHA with a English saddle

Anyone succesfuly fitted your quarter horse with an english saddle?
My mare gets these dry spots behind her shoulders, I have checked the saddle and everything fits perfect except i guess its too narrow?
However my saddle is the widest you can get (at least in a wintec)
so then maybe the angle?
I tried a saddle on her today (some german one) that was wide and had the same problem, I have gone though four saddles.
Maybe I need to go more narrow?
just wondering if anyone has success with a certain brand etc?
Thanks for the help.
(Side note: Dedee is not that big, she is 14.2hh you can see her page, she is not even super tanky either. . . )

If the saddle seems to fit well otherwise, this seems like a good situation for shims. I know the exact dry spots you're talking about- My stocky QH lease with no withers gets those too. I'm saving up to get a nice half pad so I can fill in the gaps for harder riding. You'll be equalizing the pressure, essentially, because right now the dry spot is causing the other places to have extra pressure which is no fun at all.

half pad half pad half pad, my qh is 14.3 and has no withers but she is stocky...odd i know. but the half pad saves her sholders from getting dryspots or rubbing :)

oh ok yeah try with out it and see if you notice a diffrence. sometimes the halfpads create more pressure than it relives.
