Help!!!! I oiled my tack on my mums lounge! HUGE STAIN!!!

Ok stupid I no! I can't ride cause of this horse equine enfluenza going round in Australia at the momment....so I decided to clean everything!!! I spilt some of my oil on my mums couch though and I don't no how to get it out??? Its a soft fabric couch...PLEASE any help would be appreciated before I ....die...a slow painful death HAHA!

Are there cushions? Can you flip them over? Or have you got little cushions to cover it up. Or you could say the dog did a bad stinky... :o

BLAME THE DOG!! Lol Otherwise your in the dumps. As a mum I wouldn't be very happy lol. But I have a leather lougne swete so some oil will do it good!!

Run, run like the wind!!! Unless you can get a specialist in with a degreasing agent that wont wreck the couch,(you could possibly try the clothes pre-wash sprays with degreasing agent in them, I think napisan have a product out at the moment) otherwise, it was nice knowing you!

I once did the same thing on my mothers timber outdoor table thinking that it would be fine as wasn't oil good for timber?? Unfortunately it stained the table a different colour and it had to be stripped and repolished. I was not my mothers favourite daughter for a very long time, that was about 12 years ago and she still brings it up whenever she uses the table!!
