Help me find an extra wide saddle

I had a marcel toulouse on trial, but it looks like its too narrow...so the search continues.

Unfortunately my budget is only up to $800 which eliminates pretty much all of the higher end saddles that regularly come in wider trees (unless somebody wants to donate...my birthday is coming up...), but I am hopeful that maybe there is something somewhere that will fit both myself and my horse!

17.5-18 inch seat, and I don't care if its close contact or dressage at this point.

Dragon, look into Thornhill and (used) Duett. They are designed for wide horses.

I've been emailing a couple people with duetts, seems like the ones in my price range get snatched up really fast. :(

I have never been impressed with the couple of thornhills I have come into contact with, any suggestions on models that are decent?

I tried Thornhill, Duett, Black Country, and MT (all dressage) last year, and Thornhill was the best fit for my girls. Here the page with models: SADDLES | Maryland Tack, Inc. I have Vienna - love it. Klasse was even better, but it's wider, so didn't fit. Funny enough I didn't like their most expensive model. As for jumping I wasn't very happy with feeling under my butt, so I ended up with MT. However I remember trying Thornhill A/P saddle and it was also very comfortable (BUT I don't advocate for A/P if you going to do a specific discipline).
