Help Me Find a Girth and 1/2 Pad :)

I need a half-pad and girth for my horse but can't decide on one. Can anyone help me find/decide? If so, thank you!!
For the girth, I want it to have roller buckles and elastic on both ends. Additionally, I would like it to be machine washable with fleece. Contoured is prefered but is not necessary. Paradise is 16.3 hands and with the added bulk of the 1/2 pad, needs a 54 or 56 inch. I have been looking at these:

I'm not sure whether or not I need a back/front lift or not, I included pictures though so you can see what it looks like on him. I have a $30 budget on this too.

It doesn't look like you need back or front lift, the cantle is slightly higher than the pommel, which is ideal.

I couldn't find any girths other than the ones listed, but I do have to say that I have the second to last girth you listed, and I love it! Still prefer leather ones, but it's a great girth, a couple years old and still looks brand new after a good wash.

Thanks! That pad seems to have good reviews, I'll def keep that in mind :). Also, I have a question, when you use a 1/2 pad, are you supposed to use your regular pad underneath it?

Yes you use your regular saddle pad underneath.

Ok, well I can give you some tips on shopping I am really picky, and can spend weeks searching before actually buying.. lol

First where to buy?
Obviously, online is cheaper than tack shops, but online has a variety of options too
Horse.com
Doversaddlery
Stateline tack
Horseloverz.com
and so on, are bigger company and can be more pricey, but have bigger choices

Some tack shop do online sales too, which sometimes is nice and secure, and cheaper
You can also go for craigslist, ebay, or even this forum, but you gotta put more trust into the seller than bigger company which have big reputation, so much more trustworthy

It also depends on if you want to buy new or open to used products

Now, second point, look for reviews, real people, with real experiences will have better opinions that can help you make the choice more than the description given from the company.

Know brand names, there are better quality,more durable brand, but will be probably more expensive out there, but there are also some really good brand that some people don't know. Example: I import a leather conditioner from France that people here barely know, I do not think I came across someone who knew it, but it is by far the best leather conditioner ever ! My saddle, half chaps and boots are 6 years + and still going with this product.

Trust your entourage, if you know people in the horse industry that have been there longer than you, they probably can help you decide

Anyway, this was more of a shopping help, than specially for the girth and half pad, but this can help you in the futur too

I got a free shipping thing to SmartPak so I am think about going with the Half-Pad and Girth from there. Do they seem to be good quality?? The 1/2 pad has good reviews but the Excelle pad looks like it would work better and last longer. What do you think?

I have that half pad, and I love it. I have a fleece girth by Wintec that was 25$ and I LOVE it. I have 3! One for practice, and two for shows (when I'm on the road).

Does your saddle give full spine clearance? Hard to tell from the pics.
I have a mattes, fleeceworks, and roma - and I like them for quality in just that order the mattes is def best but the roma is nice and a good affordable option.
