Help with my australian saddle

Hello Every one,

I have just bought a used australian saddle. I am having trouble with the over girth. It is way to big. The other side of the girth fits fine with some adjustment left. I am not shure if it is just to big or that I am doing something wrong. Dose it get tied like a western some how? I haven't found any thing on the net. Please help

I deal with aussie saddle month ago (returned it back though as it didn't fit my horse well). I tied it up same way as english saddle. May be you got wrong size? Can you exchange it (usually stored don't mind doing it)?

It fits my horse good, the under gith is nice and snugg that is just like english. The over girth dose not fit. It seams weird that one would fit and the other one be way too long. Taking it back is not an option I bought it from a lady on craigslist for $35.

I think you might be rite, after looking at in more I think the whole rig is too big.Looks like I will have to buy a smaller one or buy a bigger horse. Thanks for your input
