    Question Help please...Can you identify this bridle??!

    Any information about this bridle would be most useful. It was given to us by a museum and requires conservation work. The more we can find out about its history and how to look after it, the better. We are struggling at present.

    I find it hard to tell with it not very spread out in the pictures but to me it looks more like a lunging caversson (sp?) more then a bridle. I think that's what its called.

    Ah thanks so much. I seen those in use before years ago. Where the horse in on a rope moving around the human in circles (lunging?) ?

    Certainly that big nose piece seems to be on those (just looking on google)
