Hoof-it Shoes

Has anyone tried these shoes?

Horse hoof care. Composite shoes. Innovative hoof technology with HOOF-it and HorseGirlTV. Horse show. Horse TV.

I'm tempted to but I'm not sure if they would make a difference in my horse. I wonder if they might make a good choice in the winter as opposed to just pulling shoes. Would plastic on ice and snow be slippery?

I'm not familiar with those, but I use Ground Control shoes on Stella. GROUND CONTROL HORSESHOES (877) TRACTION I don't know how they are in winter because I always pull them, but you can get studs for them to help with traction. I've tried a few of the plastic horseshoes out there and like the GC the best. I do trail and road riding and one pair will usually last me the whole summer.
