I had a very expensive week!

First off, farrier came out, took off winter shoes and trim/reset new summer shoes for all 3 horses.

Went to 2 of my local tack shops (last Sunday) and came out with
-Loose Ring Double Jointed Snaffle with a copper roller in the centre of the joint, to add to my snaffle bit "collection"
-Shedrow sheepskin half pad
-Shedrow fleece lined girth with elastic on both ends for Charlie
-3 pairs of white rubber bell boots for Copper, he wears them for turnout because when he really goofs off and runs around like a crazy horse to blow off energy he sometimes overreaches or catches his shoes especially at this time of year when it is muddy in the paddock, the bell boots save his heels and shoes but usually end up torn up, so I like to have spares for just in case, and they were on sale so I stocked up!
-3 Cashel Crusader fly masks with the long noses and ears
-3 Shed Flower shedding curries, 1 for each horse, I like each of my horses to have their own grooming things
-hoof pick/brush
-hoof ointment brush
-3 pairs of solid colour boot socks to wear under my tall boots, 1 teal, 1 magenta and 1 lilac purple
-and 2 patterned pairs of boot socks
-1 pair of Joules short rubber wellies for wearing in the mud, so I don't ruin my good boots, they're kind of cute they are blue-purple with tiny white horses pattern on them
-3 books, various horse management and health type topics, to add to my "horsey book" collection

Yikes!

This is the last thing I bought last weekend while at a race.....

SS Sherry Cervi Square Mouth w/ Lifesaver.

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.

Two nights ago our tack shop had it's annual midnight sale, and it was SWAMPED. Most people had to park in the pizza parking lot next door. Over 100 people in the small store at one time; it was crazy. Everything was 10% off, plus a bunch of buckets and clothes racks for super cheap were unveiled at 9:00, which led to insane pandemonium as people shoved each other trying to get to the buckets. I got a bunch of expensive shine sprays for $1 a can and some supplements for an absolute steal. Free quart-sized samples of some new supplement products were given out....It was great.

I also bought this hunter pad ($53 at Dover):
Medallion Super-Quilt Saddle Pad by Toklat | Dover Saddlery

For $35, plus 10% off. Also bought a pair of gorgeous pair of show boots for $100, originally $160:
