    I've never used/heard of horse hair reins but I did get a horse hair bracelet once. I thought it would be really cool but it was terrible. I hated it. It hurt a lot. The hair started poking out and stuff.
    But I suppose if you got a really well made set they could be really nice.

    I never gave that much thought but I suppose from slaughter houses.
