How to clean a Toklat Woolback fleece girth

Hello to all,

I need help and information how to clean a muddy woolback fleece girt. Also, I have a wool fleece saddle pad. We will riding through some muddy terrain during the week-end and just can't seem to remove all the dirt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the Toklat website it claims that Woolbacks are machine washer and dryer safe. If you didn't want to run it through your washer I put it in a bucket with a little bit of Woolite.
