How to condition Rawhide...

I have a some tack that has rawhide on them. What can I use to condition the rawhide?

i have seen some like jars of "stuff" that say its for rawhide, but honestly ive never used it. I too would like to know if there is a way to condition rawhide maybe using house hold things?

I don't treat rawhide any different then any other leather. Whatever you do for your saddle with a rawhide cantle or horn, is done the same as the skirt, jockey, strings, or any other part - same with my bridles.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.
