You're welcome Dee. Try contacting Kevin at SouthernTrails (a member here) I'm on my 2nd saddle from him and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

$1300 would be quite a stretch, but I'll check them out. I may be able to talk hubby into letting me use part of our income tax refund in addition to my bonus check from work. That's assuming there are no other big ticket items that we will have to deal with about that time...

I may just do that - but probably not until I have the $$ in hand. I would hate to have him do a lot of work without the prospect of $$ in the near future. Do you think he has saddles for people my size?

Just give him a call, he's easy to work with and will at least give you some direction. Personally, I've never had someone who I was able to talk to before ordering my saddles. He has saddles in all different price ranges. This is his web site: Roping Saddles, Team Roping Saddle, Calf Roping Saddles

(my saddle is the last one down on this page: Roping Saddles, Roping Saddle, Roper Saddle, Roper Saddles )
