How Do Y'all Feel About...?

How do you feel about patriotic tack? I am actually thinking about buying some for my palomino Trigger and my bay High Five(look under my Horses tab).

A) Is it cheesy, even for trail riding and barrel racing?
B) How would it look on my horses(like I said, I have pictures of them under my Horses tab)

So, watcha think? If you don't like those colors, or you think they would look bad on my horses, what colors would you choose for Trigger and High Five?


PS - I love assigning my horses a color or theme. My first pony, I had a synthetic Batman saddle, along with matching tack and boots. It was cute, especially in lead line.

I think for western gymkahana-like events, it would be pretty awsome, but alot of people do that color scheme

BUT, my saddle is in between light and medium oil(natural I think it is), and I don't know if camo would match my saddle or my horse.

I am not sure how I feel about it for someone else but I don't like it for me. It is cheesy. But, it is better than a flag saddle pags, any kind.

That is what I figured most people would say. But, I couldn't think of any other ideas.

Maybe for trail rides but not for barrel racing. I agree its cheesy.

So, why don't I stick with a single color?

Maybe, hunter green for my palomino?

And, purple for my bay?

Teal is a nice color on almost any horse ;)

I agree. I might try that out on Trigger(palomino), because that was originally going to be his "color".

I am going to my local tack store tomorrow, so I will decide then.

I prefer black leather with green/teal rhinestones. Tacky but cool.
