Every sensitive horse I've ever come across has LOVED their fly masks. As long as they are properly fitted, they seem to be comfy.... well at least comfier than a facefull of flies!

My horses sometimes wear just the ear protection. I cut the tie cord off and use 1/8" elastic bo't in the sewing department. I tie a single knot. This way if the horse uses a hoof to scratch it will slip off with no damage. There is nothing one them if I'm not home to keep an eye on them. The masks get hot behind the ears and if not removed the horse will do it's best to remove it.
