    Books are a good way, but I have found through the years(40 plus) talking and watching has been the best way for me to gain knowledge. Along with trial and error..

    The best way to learn is to hang aroung at your barn as much as possible. I'm probably the biggest noob on here, but I know what im talking about most of the time because I've gotten so much expierience this summer. I was at the barn EVERYDAY! No, im not saying I know everything. Far from it, in fact. But, I read books, ask questions, and watch people. The occasional eveasdropping helps a wee bit too ;)
