How does my saddle fit?

The other day I noticed a white "rub" mark on Skip's shoulder and back. I thought my saddle fit him pretty well though.

It's a Circle Y Expedition Felx2 Trail Saddle that I absolutely love, it is sooo comfortable. It fits him better than our 2 other adult western saddles, one being too tight in his shoulders and the other being too wide.

I know the pictures aren't the best. The first one was after a ride on a hot day, so he was pretty sweaty. The next few are from today, but I didn't put a saddle pad on because I was trying to beat the rain and was rushing to get pictures.









Please excuse his horribly knotty tail, I did condition it and brush it out, he somehow made his braid into a huge knot.

His head needs to be up to determine saddle fit.

Sorry about that! I did get more pictures today with his head up, he was pretty grumpy though and didn't want to cooperate. His head is not that big, but I fail at taking pictures so he looks out of proportion.

From what I can see, it looks good. How long have you been riding in it? And no soreness? So, maybe you got lucky!

Can you get a picture with you sitting in it as well so we can check clearance?

Saddle fit does not look that bad, can we get a pic with the saddle on without a pad or blanket?

I've had the saddle for about 5 years and only rode maybe 30 times in it, but I've had Skip for about 2.5 months and have been riding at least 3 days a week with that saddle.

He isn't sore, I normally check for sore spots before and after a ride, and he is fine. He just has 2-3 white rub marks on his sides and withers from I assume the saddle.

I can get pictures tomorrow. I do have a few pictures of my dad on him, but they are side views only. I hope it's a good fit, we don't really have any tack shops/saddle fitters around here.
