How much would you guys pay for this saddle? Does it seem like a good deal? I am wanting to start off in small state circuit shows and eventually show in breed competitions. Would this saddle be appropriate for breed shows?

Sorry I couldnt figure out how to embed a photograph so I am including the link to the sale page of the saddle on tack trader.

I know real show saddle can cost you leg and arm. Circle Y is a very nice brand, and saddle looks really well-cared on pic. In any case I'd ask more pics before you make you mind (especially with the bottom). And... You can always try to negotiate some. :)

Used Circle Y saddles hold their value and that one looks to be in good condition based on the one picture. I'd like to see a picture taken from the top so I could see the seat, and I'd like to see a close up of the fenders - both sides. You can see the saddle has been used but doesn't appear to be abused and seems to be in good enough condition to show in.

As for price, it is reasonable for a show saddle of that quality and apparent condition. If you can buy it for the $1,600 including shipping, that would be great. Can you negotiate for the matching headstall and breast collar?

Ok, I requested additional photos and the seat and fenders appear to be as clean as the rest of the saddle. The seat has hardly any wear at all. They dont have the BC or headstall, but I negotiated them down to $1350 with shipping included. Yay!! Hope it looks as good when it arrives as it does in pictures ;)
