I plan on cleaning at least once a week, since I only get a chance once a week. If I rode I'd likely do it nearly everytime I rode.

I'm terrible about cleaning my tack. I bring everything in maybe once a month to scrap the mud off and give it a wipe down with Murphy's soap. I do give it a good oiling once a year. We ride in and through creeks and muddy fields to often, the gunk gets splashed all over. We sometimes look like a 4 wheeler who has been out mudding

Not as often as I like.

My bits of course everytime they are used are cleaned. But the Tack only get cleaned when it looks like it needs it.
Unless its my show gear, then it gets cleaned everytime before and after use.

I usually only clean mine for show... Which I guess is once a month, maybe twice.

After every ride with this stuff: Wash by LeatherTherapy Inc.
I also use bit wipes and hot water on their bits.

Our trainers don't allow dirty tack so cleaning the tack is kind of an automatic thing. I'd also feel guilty not cleaning it since it was about as expensive as my car...

I clean it about once a month. If I look at it and think, "hmm...I need to clean this" then I generally do a quick wipe down with some spray on leather cleaner and conditioner I have. About two or three times a year I'll get the urge to really clean it and I'll sit down with it and take it apart to clean every nook and cranny I can get to. I'll even take all the conchos and stuff off to clean under them. I also will give it a quick wipe down if I'm going on a big trail ride (although I didn't this weekend...but it's okay because we ended up riding with a big poop stain on his rear end...so we looked pretty scruffy anyway).

I think the last time I cleaned my tack was before the last show last year...so about October.
I really should clean my tack more, maybe I will make that my new new year resolution.

I wipe mine down after every ride with a damp cloth. I take apart and full clean and condition everything once every 4-6 weeks. I'll oil or super condition every fall and spring. It gets humid here in the summer, so tack molds quickly. I try to save oiling or super conditioning tack for dryer months, and only when it really needs it.
