Very nice saddle!
YOU SCORED!!!!!!

Personally, I'd rather get my hands on a good used saddle than a new one. Good value for the money. I really like what you got.

Nice dye job. What dye did you use and what was the process? Saddle looks good. You just need to put the small straps on above the stirrups to keep your stirrup from flipping around.

Dustbunny, I plan on doing the stirrup turn on the sticky above. Is that strap already there or do I need to buy it?
The dye was easy, you just use the cleaner, then dye with the included brush, let it dry a few and then rub firmly to get a consistent color, let it finish drying and your done.
When I get a chance I will post on here the name of the dye I used. It is good stuff.

Those straps are called "stirrup hobble straps" (they are not hobbles as one would think of them). Most tack shops would carry them. Horse.com has them for $2.99 and $3.99 depending on style.

Looks like it has hobble straps, the one on the right just isn't going around the outside of the fender.

I'm sorry Saddlebag, I replied to Dustbunny when you asked the question.
