    You are right. Thank you.

I turned the stirrups like in the sticky. It worked slicker than snot on a doorknob.

They look great, here are pics.

A common complaint I hear is that when using Feibing's the excess dye comes off so perhaps wear something that doesn't matter, in case. Or you could try saddlesoaping a small area then rubbing it lightly with a cloth to see if the dye is stable. Please let us know. Glad to see the stirrup hobble done up correctly, around all the leather. It also puts a nice turn when done up tight.

Thank you Saddlebag and fkcb1988. I will try the saddle soap idea. One thing I did do was after it dries good, I took an old t shirt and rubbed on the seat real hard and barely any came off.
The stirrup turning was super easy and I like the look a lot plus easier to use.

Great job with the buying, cleaning dyeing and turning!

You have got one real nice saddle there, and turning the stirrups will make it so nice to ride in, it has made such a difference to my saddle.

Very very nice! I tried a Cirle Y saddle on my gelding a few years back and remember that color seat.. Love your saddle you really did a great job on it!! Can you share how and what you used to dye your seat? My hubby would love a black seat on his now brown one. Thanks a bunch!
