    One of these days, I'm going to find a saddle that fits my girl - one of these might work, she's high withered, broad backed, and downhill to boot. Sadly, the seat sizes for these are just too small for my fat backside!

    Yes, I can have a friend take pics, I don't have a camera at the moment so it might be a day or two. I'll measure it tomorrow before I ride.

    You should try the saddle I'm riding in now, her back sounds a lot like my Milly's and it might fit her perfect :)

    I learned a lot about saddle fit from the local tack shop, and they showed me the exact style to look for. You should see what they say and look for something similar like I'm doing.

    We don't have any "tack" shops around here. We have some tack at the feed store, but ask the clerks about saddle fit, and you get nothing but a blank stare. As far as they are concerned, one size fits all, and the only horse worth having is a QH, and Dancer is a Spanish Mustang cross. Short broad back, high withers, and downhill.

    What saddle are you using now?
