i think i hit the jackpot!!

Ok so I found a craigslist ad for a Pro 2000 17" forward seat jumping saddle.

So that means it's a wintec (good quality!) the kicker... it's only 100$s! I am emailing them about it now. If it has a medium tree it WILL be perfect! I am so excited lol you guys have any experience with the wintec pro 2000

No experience but I hear that wintec is super easy to take care of! You are going to try it on and ride in first right? Hope it goes well! Good luck!

Well I know exactly what size me and my horse need so as long as the tree is the right size I should be good, however I would try but it's to far away to really test it. Just going to chance it and if it doesn't fit us just resell it.

I'm suposed to be meeting the girl to pick it up this friday. YAY. Sadly it comes without stirrups and leathers = ( so i'll have to borrow a friends for awhile while I can save up more money for those. So glad I got a good deal and very greatful I held out for a great find.

A word of caution... make sure the tree is sound (that it isn't broken), and that the billets and stirrup bars are intact.

Will do! I am meeting the person at a local auction, and a very trust worthy english tack retailer is there and i'll have her check it over for me! :) question though. If I had the girl meet me there(she will already be going there as she is bringing horses to the auction.. = /) do you think if I decided it wasn't right for me. Would it be rude to tell her(ERGH I assume it's a her anyway) that I wasn't interested?

If you decide you don't want the saddle, for whatever reason, don't hesitate to say no. Especially since she'll be at that location anyways.

And as JDI said, make sure the tree etc. is sound.

PS- what colour and length of stirrup leathers do you need? I have a pair that I could sell.

Honestly NO idea lol i've never ridden english in my life!! I just need a nice saddle to play around on while teaching my horse to jump xD lol I think the saddle is brown? But I honestly don't know. I would buy them from you. But I just paid for my cat to have a C-section and that was 300$'s I literally have no money left. I honestly don't have the money for the saddle but it's too good of a deal to pass up on.
