Intrepid Leather Halters?

My boy has a leather halter that he really only wears on the trailer/at shows (since I don\'t turn out in halters) that\'s by Weaver and I looooove it! Since I\'m a freak, I\'ve started Christmas shopping and I was going to buy the horsey little girl in my life a leather halter and get brass plates on it for her for Christmas. I was looking for good deals on Weaver, when I came across \"Intrepid\", specifically this halter:

The Cheshire Horse - Keene, NH and Saratoga Springs, NY

The price is eye-catching, but what\'s the quality like? The horse won\'t be turned out in it. Also, I\'m only looking at 3/4\" because her mare has a fine head and I love the look of a thinner halter on them. Are Intrepids decent quality? What is \"latigo lining\"?
