IRH Reviews?

I just bought myself a IRH Olympian DFS helmet. Does anyone have this helmet or a IRH helmet in general? What are your reviews on this product?

It was priced $99.95 but I got 10% since it was at a vendor at a horse/fair show this weekend. So far, it looks great, the dail system works wonders and it's the size I actually needed (order a helmet from Greenhawk, only to have 2 months later getting the wrong size).

Will bring to the barn asap for a ride. =]

I have an IRH without the dial system, and I have two friends who have IRH's with the dial system.

I have heard nothing negative about them, nor do I have anything negative to say about mine. I use mine during the winter and for shows.

I got mine from ebay, brand new for $50.00. It is the skunk style black on black. Although, mine is a smidge too big for me, I had to put foam inserts in mine to make it doable, but I am thinking I am going to have to either trade it for a size smaller, or sell it to purchase one a size smaller.

Cool, I actually wanted that style, but the one I have I'm ok with.

Anyone else?

I have an IRH and I love it. The only problem I have is the tack store I got it from did not tell me about putting my hair up before trying the helmet on. So at shows, I discovered that it fits a bit too tight with my hair inside my helmet. We found a way to make it work but I'm getting my hair chopped tomorrow anyway so it shouldn't be a problem for the rest of the season. :)

I have a Charles Owen, but almost everyone at my barn has IRH helmets... so they must be good!

Lots of reviews here...
English Chaps/Boots/Helmets

I have an IRH helmet, no dial fit, but I love it. I use it as my comp helmet and I love the fit, so comfy. Also the venting strip up the front works really well, I forget I am wearing the helmet in the summer

I had one for years! -w/o the dial fit. It's a great helmet. Comfortable and looks nice on most people (although I find that they're not very low profile. but i also have a big head ). I also like that they come in round and long oval so they fit most people. After about 3 or 4 years of intensive riding the padding did wear out though and one day I was going through a 3"6 gymnastic on a notorious stopper.... it fell over my eyes over the first element and i went through it completely blind. Yes, I did cuss. loudly. And went home and promptly bought a new helmet! Regardless I give it 2 thumbs up and my full recommendation!
