Jazzed Up Saddle Blanket

Hi guys!
So here's what I want: a blinged up, jazzed up, SPARKLEY saddle blanket to use in shows!! BUT I don't WANT TO PAY 200 BUCKS FOR IT!

So here's what I was thinking: Why not make my own?

But how?

Buy a plain saddle blanket, the kind you put over your regular pad, and glue stuff on it? Sew stuff on it? Bedazzle stuff on it?

Help!! Any ideas welcome:) Please affordable suggestions

Hmm ... I definitely wouldn't glue on. The sparkles would all likely fall off, and it would look a bit cheap anywho. I think bedazling would be your best bet :) Do a pretty design where the saddle doesn't sit, and that should get you some bling, and a nice custom look, without overkill :)

WhinneyWear makes awesome ones for under $50 I think.
