Latest creation - Grackle Bridle

I was asked to make a grackle bridle for someone - as normal nothing is normal so I thought that I would show you all the result.
She asked for laced reins, bridle clips on the cheek-pieces and brass buckles.
I also stitched a pattern on the brow-band and the centre round piece . The bridle was made in Dk Havana and had 12 stitches to the inch all round - except the pretty patterns which were stitched in 16 stitches to the inch ( that's why the other saddlers call me nuts - no one stitches at 16 to the inch anymore )
What do you all think.

What an amazing job :) You are so talented! I know who I am going to when I need a custom made bridle done :)

Can you do breast plates with elastic? For Eventing.

Kitten_Val , there's nothing stopping you ordering from me now. I regularly post to the UK from Hungary and postage to the US is no different.

gorgeous. I love the detail on the little round piece. do you do bridles with nice bling browbands, nothing too flashy but just a little bit of sparkle?

Boxer - Yes I can do ' bling ' I like to keep it subtle and classy if possible so I normally steer clear of the ostentatious.
Mostly I stitch in beads ( real not fake ) , most are available - Swartz pearls ( real Pearls if your mad enough )- everything else is real stones or gems, mother of pearl , tigers eye , peridot , rose quartz , hematite etc
Here are a few pics of what they look like .
These are for my own horses ( why they are a bit expensive ) , the pearls are real and the gold chain is 18ct plate on solid silver ( about USD $100 worth - just for the chain ) , but it gives you an idea of the look, I would have to look at the GBP/AUS$ exchange rate for prices for you.
