Hi (: I'm very particular when using leg protection on my horses legs, I particularly use 'fore' ' brushing boots' which go on my horses front legs. I only use these when jumping him, As he's six and he's an ISH he has quite tender legs and hooves, So I don't jump without leg protection as I wouldn't like him damaging his legs as he's young and getting a knock from a soild pole could knock his confidence. The brushing boots, You should always have the straps on the outside and it goes thin to quite wide on the boots you should put the wide part at the bottom of your horses leg near to the corret band but shouldnt be to far down the horses leg he trips up! And should sit under the knee of the horses leg. :) x hope this helps!
Yeah, I like to use boot's just for extra protection as my horse is young and I don't want him hitting his legs and putting him off something particular, e.x - showjumping
