I have a kinda dumb question. Lol would a 16 inch saddle work with a 30 inch pad?

Yeah. Do you have a round skirt or a square skirt? Usually the 30ins are okay..but I have a 32 inch ESP pad. It just depends on how far it will stick out around the edges of the saddle.. You may want to go a little bigger if you can. It's just the length..

Oh, yeah, that should be fine.. If you are still worried I would go with a 32 or so just to be safe...and you can always send it back if it doesn't fit. Just put a sheet or towel on the horse then set the saddle pad and saddle on it to see if it fits and you like it. If not, send it back and get a different size.

I'm buying it used for $65 including shipping in excellent condition (whih is a deal since they're like $145 new) I hate barrel saddle pads that are cut to the skirt like that but it's a deal, I'll bite it. Lol
