"Little S Hackamore"

I'm just looking at this objectively. I'm curious as to your opinions.
I know a lot of endurance riders recently have been using this and really like it.

- What do you guys think of this "tool"?
- Would you ride in one? Why or why not?
- Compared to a "crossunder bitless bridle" is it more or less severe? Let's say the same person was using it, with soft hands. IE: if the same amount of pressure was applied, which would be "worse" in your opinion?
- When, in your opinion, should it be used, if at all?

I don't want to start any arguments or flame wars. This is simply me wanting to see the differing opinions on this particular piece of tack, out of curiosity.

Have at it.
