Looking for a good dressage saddle...

...one that won't get too far over the $1,000 price range. Any suggestions? :)

Well, I was GOING to say the Wintec ones, but aperently not. They are really nice though, my whole team went to novice with them! And Sandie seems like she would be the same size and shape as Blue and the dressage saddle fit's Blue pretty well.

It's going to be really hard to find a good saddle that isn't over 1000. I'd say see if you can get the saddle fitter out, and then look on ebay for a used saddle.

I think Stubben dressage saddles are very nice. I tied and it was comfortable to ride even though I'm not big fan of dressage saddles. However they are over $1000 new, BUT you can always consider used.

I've got a Zaldi that I bought from a friend pretty much new, as she'd only used it twice. I absolutely love it, as does my horse.

Edit: Not really sure what they generally cost new, though. I only paid $600 for mine.

HITS, do you have any tack shops around that you try saddles in?
