Ahhh I think i can go to $300
I sold all of my sheep so i have about $700 , i just like saving money
and I orderd like 23567 million grooming things and clippers for my horse.

Just a little push for quality. I have a show halter that I got handed down to me after it was probably 10-20 years old. I've used it for 5 years and although it's a tad old fashioned, it still looks amazing. We also have a few junker halters that have broken or cracked. The silver peels and they don't fit well. They work well for my mom's 4-Hers if they still function, but really you should buy the best you can afford. I'm not saying you need excessive silver or any silver for that means, but you get hat you pay for.
P.S. I wish I had the money for the Chavex linked on ebay.

Good luck on your halter search - I understand making the commitment. I have a hard time committing to big purchases.

Maybe I'm a little overly romantic or optimistic here, but I've always thought it would be fun to just get a nice leather halter and find some nice silver (I like montana silversmith) and put a show halter together myself. *shrug* I don't have a show quality horse right now though, so... :)
