Lushute's Special barrel saddle. Ever heard of it?

I happened to come across a saddle at a garage sale today. It was a barrel saddle, 15 inch, and it had a silver oval behind the pommel in the front seat area labeled Lushute's Special. Has anyone ever heard of this brand? I have googled and searched and all I can find is some minimal info on a guy named Mike Lushute who deals with quarter horses. The saddle seemed decent quality. The tree was rawhide wrapped. Leather was in good shape. They wanted $250 and said they would take $200 for it. I just wanted to do a little homework on the brand and then possibly go back for it tomorrow if no one bought it yet. Does anyone have any input?

Isn't that weird? I'm not really in the market for another saddle for myself, but I thought about giving it a make over and reselling it. I'm just afraid that if no one else can find any information on it, I'll have a hard time reselling it. I may just leave it alone. It was a decent saddle though and it actually felt pretty good sitting in it. Too bad.
