In the market for a new helmet, what brands do you like?

Wuld love to get your input on style, price, brands of the helmets you like.

Took a nasty fall into the road last week, thankfully was not Oliver's fault at all and he stayed with me, thievery smart boy that he is

So I had on my Charles Owen Jr....can't remember the exact make, no I did not hit my head THAT hard lol

So pros and cons, how much do you spend on safety gear such as the important piece....the helmet!

I think I spent about $150 on the Charles Owen, loved it had it for a few years with no damage to it :)

Hunters or jumpers?

I ride jumpers and eventing. I LOVE my Ovation Z-8

It is light as a feather, low profile and nice and cool. I couldn't be happier. Especially considering I am a GPA gal. I loved my GPA but I didn't have that kind of money to drop on a helmet at this time. The Ovation was a great replacement.

However if you have a higher budget GPA is the way to go. I love the GPA Speed. Which I am hoping to get for next year and will just use for shows/events/clinics and my Ovation will be my school helmet.
