Matching?

So I need help big time! I'm into zebra things so I got a zebra headstall and breast collar for my horse. I have a pink barrel saddle that has hearts on it and my pad is pink and green zebra.. do you think it looks to girly or very unmatching? I don't want to look like a dork when im ridin because theres to much goin on. Should I maybe get just a plain black and white zebra saddle pad? I feel theres to much color on her back and all black and white on her head.. and is it like to girly or too kiddish? Please don't be rude.. I just want honest answers

.

Welcome to the The Horse Forum...

I think a Zebra Print saddle pad would look a little better than the pink and green one, green just does not match as well as a black and white pad.

The Pink highlights and the Saddle would look good with a black and white pad

I think that you should get a black and white zebra saddle pad. The green doesn't match anything.

I know you can buy a saddle with a zebra colored seat.

Personally I like all the Zebra print! But I do agree that a plain black and white print saddle cloth would look alot better than the pink and green!

Personally, I wouldn't go get a new saddle. I would rather just switch up the pad because they are cheaper. If you are into competitions and things like that, then I would go with a black/white zebra pad, get pink/black braided reins, and then get zebra and pink boots. Otherwise, just get the zebra pad and stick with all of the black and white. My saddle doesn't match my tack, either... it has a LOUD pink cancer ribbon painted on both sides. My colors are also black/white zebra.

Green Broke
I agree, either a solid black pad (white would get dirty fast) or a zebra print pad. And I think it looks very sweet!

The only reason I don't do something like that is my husband has to approve my horsey purchases and well, even though he doesn't ride, he is picky about what our horse looks like (rolls eyes). I'm not allowed to do pink, baby blue, purple, etc...because "he's a boy horse." It took me FOREVER to talk him into a show browband for dressage with a little glitz because he thinks they are too girly. I almost wish I bought a mare...but I wouldn't trade my Cinny for anything.

Thanks! :) I really wanted to get a saddle that had a zebra seat and little pieces of zebra on the back but I found it after I got this saddle, but im only goin to look for a different saddle pad, where I live its like ranchin area where cowboys don't pimp out their horses so I feel odd in a way lol. But I actually found a pair of gaming reins that have the same colors of my pad, the really bright lime green and pink, but I think the new pad would be better.
