Micklem Bridle

What are your thoughts and opinions on a Micklem Bridle? I've heard that they have rubbed?
Do you think that the bitless system would be effective on a stronger sort of pony? Do you lose steering?
Any opinions welcome!

I have one and I've never seen where it could rub.

A strong-willed pony will go thro a bitless bridle. He'll figure out where to set his nose and then do what he wants with the rider having little control.
