miller klimke?

There is a Miller Klimke at the tack store in my hometown. I am seriously considering buying it....it's $450... that's totally worth it right? Or should I negotiate? It seemed to be in pretty good condition. I forgot to ask if they knew exactly how old it was...
OPINIONS PLEASE!
here is the link... it's the 4th one down.

Iv'e never tried one, but from what I've heard they are nice saddles. If it fits your horse I'd say it's a good deal.

By all means go park your butt in it and see how it feels. If you get to try it out be sure to put clean sheeting on your horse. You will likely have to pay in advance and it it's not returned in pristine condition you could wind up owning it. That's a good price. If it's the one you want try offering a little less-for cash. Credit cards cost the retailer about 3%.

I have parked my butt in it at the store. For about 5 minutes moving all around on their horse saddle stand looking thing. It is 2.5 hours away from where my horse is stabled, I was just home for the day. Also, I am no saddle expert, so what is the difference in a wide tree, and a wide tree with a twist? A wide or 7.5-8" usually fits him quite nicely (he is a qh/arab....explains the wide...). I have been searching for something that fits me and my horse in my price range (<$500) that is nicely used, that isn't a wintec... that's what I just sold.

Everything I can find says that these are great saddles. This is the first one I have found that REALLY caught my eye.
I think I will trace his withers and make a wire fitting for it too, and test that out.

I tried one on my very wide morgan last year and absolutely loved it. It was too small for both of us, or I would have snapped it up. I think its a great deal at $450.

I personally would haul my horse home or get a trial. Too often they don't fit and then you are stuck trying to sell it
