    You may also consider a french link snaffle. It has the same ratio of pressure as a single-jointed snaffle, without the possibility of it poking her in the palate!

    Just a plain loose ring snaffle with the iron mouth which horses seem to like. I had a horse that was very resistant to bits, D ring to mild curb but took to the loose ring. This particular bit is inexpensive, I think less than $15 in the US so it's won't break the bank. Look for one with stainless rings.
