That is really creative! Good job! Looks fantastic! It can be such a pain to get glitter to stay on! I do suggest the modge podge stuff, its a mess but works pretty well. I havn't tried the other one you mentioned though so I don't know how they compare!

Did you rough up the leather first?

I've never done anything to nylon so I have no idea but it wouldn't hurt to try it out on something that you don't use much.

Ha...no ! I didn't even think of that at the time I started working on it. I was just excited to get it started but now that you mention it, that probably would have helped a lot! Oh well, live and learn.

Once the stuff that's on there completely peels off, you can always do it then. Just take some medium grit sandpaper (nothing too rough, but nothing too fine, either) and lightly sand the top layer of the leather so that if feels slightly rough to the touch. The glue should adhere pretty easily to it then. Right now, the glue has nothing to hold onto, as the surface of the leather is slick.

I think the sandpaper and E6000 should work. Mod Podge is lovely but I don't think it would hold up to being wet. If you try it please let us know. I have a couple of ugly bridles that would love to be sparklefied.

Yeah I completely agree, I just got ahead of myself. When everything starts peeling off and requires more than touch ups I'll definitely rough it up and try again! Thanks for the advice!
