We're doing great! I've done tons of groundwork with her and am almost ready to begin saddling her. She has really turned out to be a fantastic little horse.

Congrats!! I am glad that everything is working out for you. I know how much you worried there for a while about whether you would be able to handle her or not. Sounds like you have a great start going. And just so you know... I expect pictures of her first saddling!! Or even some updated pix of her now would be awesome. I bet she has changed a lot since I last saw a pic.

Ooooh, I bet she'll look great in her red saddle pad. ;p''

I can't believe you remember that!

Yeah those first couple of weeks with her were very trying. I had to be a lot more assertive with her than I was at the beginning and I think that established some respect. She's worked beautifully since then for the most part.

And yeah, I do need to get more pictures of her. She's slicked off now and getting bigger. She looks pretty!
