My new halfchaps.

So I just received my new halfchaps and I have to admit, their kinda odd lookin? They arn't leather like most, they're a mesh type material that's supposed to be ultra breathable for really hot weather (prefect for the Fla summers!).

What do you guys think? Lol

I like them! =) They kinda remind me of my half-chaps, mine are super old and really broken in, and black and they have a zipper but they're leather... I love half chaps, they make me feel so hard-core but I never wear them because I'm pretty sure everybody at my barn would have a good laugh since they all ride exclusively western. I guess that was a totally random ramble, but I do like yours! Are they comfy?

You have them on backward... The snap at the bottom is supposed to be pointed back toward your heel, and the small accordion part at the bottom is supposed to go over the top of your foot, not on the back of your ankle .

LOL well that figures! I was kinda waiting for someone to say something. Its the first time I've ever worn half chaps. LMAO

I thought I saw something wrong with the picture, I just couldn't put my finger on it. It's alright, half chaps are complicated things when you've never put them on before, when I got my first pair the woman at the tack store had to teach me!

Wow they fit like a glove! Don't feel bad, I almost got on with my chaps on backwards when I first got mine!

They look pretty similar to my half-chaps, though they are just some bog-standard cheapo pair and not made out of cool meshy stuff. Just remember that the little flexible triangle bit at the bottom is there to spread out over your foot - if your boots had laces, they'd cover some of the tongue.

I like them.... (you're so cute about the backwards thing....We ALL do that stuff but you handled it with grace!!!)

Lol, I was going to say that they're backwards too! There is a girl at the barn I ride at who was wearing her's backwards the other day.

I really like them! They look similar to mine...sort of. I'll probably be back to post a picture of them later on this week.
