Mystery Tack: Tail Clasp

For training iberian horses in-hand, a tail-clasp is often used to gather braided hair of the tail up to prevent swooshing-hairs from scratching the face/skin of the trainer. I've seen it in many Iberian schooling books, but all of my internet searches for one yielded nothing.

Do they have another name I could try searching perhaps?

Or, have you seen those anywhere?

I've seen them many times for people. I think I even used to have a few.
Not sure if they could do double duty

I just searched "ponytail wrap" or "hair glove"
