Need Help Identifying English Saddle

I need some help identifying a saddle I recently bought. It says 'Spring Tree - Made In England'. It also has the manufacturer on it in several places, but I cannot make out what it says. Here are some links to pictures. The 2 bottom pictures is the word I need help with. I can make out the first few letters, but that is it. Also, is this a particular type of saddle? Thank you.

It is stamped Pessoa on the flap in worn off and faded gold writing.

What "style" it is exactly...

Pessoa saddles are made in various styles of close contact, jumping and A/P...
Here is a link to their website and hopefully some help in exactly what you have in your possession...or a way to contact them and ask how to identify your saddle more accurately...

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I think I did pretty good. Got this saddle yesterday at a yard sale for $3.

please check carefully it is not damaged before using the saddle on a horse!!

You did GREAT!!!

Those saddles cost thousands new and used go for many hundreds of dollars...

Is there a simple way for me to check if the tree is good? There is nothing visible besides a few busted stitches.

$3?! WOW!!! You got yourself a SPECTACULAR deal!! And I thought I did well finding a used Pessoa for one of my students for only $500... Nice!

It does look like there is some splitting along the side of the seat... I would be careful not to make it worse by wearing jeans when you ride!
